Day 1: Game Drives in Serengeti National Park

The safari will start at Zanzibar Airport to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival at Seronera Airstrip, you will meet with our driver-guide. He will welcome you and, after a short briefing, he will pick you up, ready to start a magical game drive in the Serengeti National Park while carrying picnic lunch boxes. Once you finish the game drive, we will transfer you to the campsite for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park is well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest, which migrate together looking for fresh pasture, grasses, and water, especially during the rainy season. Be ready to see resident predators: leopard, cheetah, and lion, fulfilling their role in the circle of life.

Day 2: Game Drives in Serengeti National Park

Today, you’ll wake up early. Then, after breakfast, you’ll enjoy a fantastic morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Later in the afternoon, you’ll depart for Ngorongoro for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay at the accommodation located on the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. This will give you a wonderful chance to descend the crater early morning on the following day, where you will be able to spot different animal species when they are still active.

Serengeti National Park is famous for its great migration. The great migration is the largest movement of wildebeests, zebra, and other herbivores that gather together for calving season. The best time to visit the Serengeti so as to spot wildebeest giving birth is from mid-December to early April every year. After the game drives, you’ll drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
