As you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our dedicated driver will be eagerly awaiting your arrival, holding a sign with your name for a warm and heartfelt welcome. From there, you’ll enjoy a seamless and comfortable transfer to our charming Springlands Hotel.

Upon arrival at the hotel, a delicious meal will be served to help you settle in. Later, our experienced mountain coordinators and guide will give you an informative pre-trekking briefing, offering an exciting opportunity to learn about the wonders that await you during your expedition.

Take the time to relax and unwind in the beautiful environment of Springlands Hotel, which features a swimming pool, a scenic garden, a bar, and a restaurant, ensuring you’re refreshed and ready for your upcoming adventure.

Start your day with an early breakfast before heading out on your trek from Mti Mkubwa Camp. The trail will take you through diverse landscapes, including moorlands, with breathtaking views of Kibo Volcano.

You will hike for about 5 hours, arriving at Shira Camp 1 for a delicious hot lunch prepared by our chef. After your meal, continue your trek for another 2–3 hours to reach Shira Camp 2, located at a higher altitude. The camp offers expansive views of the surrounding landscape, providing a tranquil spot to relax and acclimate.

Upon arrival, the porters will set up your tents, and you'll have some time to rest before dinner. In the evening, your guide will brief you on the details of the next day's trek, helping you prepare for the journey ahead.

After an early breakfast at Shira 2 Camp, begin your trek toward Moir Hut. The trail gradually steepens as you enter the giant heather moorland zone and cross Shira Ridge. Along the way, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes, making for a truly scenic journey.

By early afternoon, you’ll reach Moir Hut at an altitude of 4,200 meters. Here, you can take some time to relax and acclimate to the altitude. The terrain offers a combination of gentle ascents and spectacular vistas, preparing you for the more demanding stages of the trek. Moir Hut's peaceful environment provides an excellent opportunity to rest and recharge for the upcoming days.

Hiking time: 4–5 hours

Start your trek with breakfast at Moir Hut before departing the moorland and entering the alpine desert. You’ll ascend a steep ridge off the main trail, which will take approximately 5 to 7 hours to reach Pofu Camp at 4,025 meters. Along the way, enjoy magnificent views of Kenya’s wild lands to the north.

This challenging section offers a dramatic contrast to the lush moorland you previously encountered, highlighting the stark beauty and vast expanse of the alpine desert. Upon arrival at Pofu Camp, take time to absorb the stunning landscapes around you and prepare for the next stages of your journey.

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at Pofu Camp, then continue eastward through valleys and ridges in the alpine desert and moorland. This trek, which takes approximately 5 to 7 hours, offers expansive views of the vast mountain wilderness. The rugged terrain and panoramic vistas provide a dramatic backdrop to your journey.

Upon arrival at Third Caves Camp at 3,600 meters, you’ll have ample time to rest and acclimate. Soak in the serene surroundings and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere as you prepare for the next day’s adventure. A well-deserved dinner awaits, allowing you to relax and recharge amidst the stunning landscapes.

Begin your trek from Third Caves Camp, heading south through valleys and ridges onto the alpine desert and moorland. After trekking for approximately 4 to 6 hours, you’ll arrive at Kibo Camp at 4,700 meters, where the temperatures will drop significantly.

At Kibo Camp, take time to prepare your gear for the upcoming summit attempt. Enjoy the fresh food supplies that will arrive in the afternoon, and savor a hearty meal. Rest early, ensuring that you are well-rested and ready for the challenging ascent to Uhuru Peak. This rest is crucial for your energy and acclimatization before the final summit bid.

Altitude: 3,600m – 4,700m

Hiking time: 4–6 hours

Wake up around midnight to begin your summit trek. Start hiking at 1 am, navigating the switchbacks and loose rock as you ascend to Gillman’s Point (5,685 m). From there, continue the final push to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m), the highest point in Africa. Take in the breathtaking views and celebrate your incredible achievement at the summit.

After a brief time at the summit, begin your descent back down to Millennium Camp (3,110 m), where you’ll rest for the night. The climb to the summit and subsequent descent is physically demanding, but the sense of accomplishment and the stunning surroundings make the journey worthwhile.

Hiking time: 15+ hours

Descend from Millennium Camp (3,110 m) to Mweka Gate (1,830 m), a trek that will take approximately 2 to 3 hours. Upon reaching the gate, you’ll be awarded your climbing certificate to celebrate your remarkable achievement. Afterward, you’ll be transferred back to Springlands Hotel, where you can unwind and enjoy a relaxing evening, reflecting on your unforgettable Kilimanjaro journey.

After breakfast, begin your descent from Millennium Camp (3,110 m) to Mweka Gate (1,830 m), which will take around 2 to 3 hours. Upon reaching the gate, you’ll be awarded your well-earned climbing certificate to commemorate your successful summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Following the certificate ceremony, you’ll be transferred back to Springlands Hotel, where you can relax and reflect on your incredible achievement. Take the evening to unwind and share stories of your adventure.
